ASSOCIATION OF PARENTS AND GUARDIANS ‘We do not accept any proposal in the municipality of Thassos,

The Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religion; learning, financial re; the accelerated and the Municipality of Thassos mergers; tions-day primary schools and kindergartens in the rationalization of public expenditure, in view of new Kallikrates Municipalities and obvious cause and the correlation organikotitas functioning of schools in relation to school capacity and the ability to optimize and operation of each school.

The Association of Parents of kindergarten 1st Thassos is of the opinion that the proposal of the Government to merge the schools can not be accepted in the form of registration. Restructuring of schools is necessary but should be seen as appropriate and certainly not by massive mergers that will only cause problems with their implementation. Especially for the municipality of Thassos does not accept any proposal which lets remote areas without schools and forcing students to travel many miles daily to attend their classes, which turns the island many years ago and poses a risk to the safety and health young disciples.

We express our strong opposition to any other reasonable effort to remove school and will oppose any attempt at implementation.

Especially for the first kindergarten 2/thesio Thassos note the following result of cooperation with the faculty:

1) The first 2 / T Nursery Thassos does not have its own roof, but housed in two rooms of the 2 nd Primary School.

2) The first 2 / T Nursery Thassos already has a large number of infants: 25 in the classical section and 21 in all day.

3) The one room which hosts all-day section is not enough. Inside the same room working appliances (refrigerator -il/ki kitchen) which is much less space and creates risks for the safety of paidion.Ston same place children sleeping at the time of relaxation-sleep!
